Can I be pregnant when I took the right steps?

A little more than a month ago I had sex with my bf and we always use a condom. But that one time I was really dry and after we were done we realized the condom completely broke. Right then we went to get me the 'morning after' pill. When we had sex it was the day after I finished my period. So I waited about a week after taking the pill until started a few bleeding days that were really heavy. I thought it was the pill taking effect. But now I was due for my period April 28. It was May 3 when I took a peg any test and it Sao not pregnant and so I waited a few more days and took another test and it said not pregnant again and at first I thought it was lat cuz I bled a week after my period so when I was due again it'd be a week late. It's been awhile so I'm nervous. Is it that my body is skipping this month from he bleeding last month. Any help?
