Why they say Pocono has 3 turns and other tracks have 4 turns?

So any track that has two curves they say has four turns. The first curve being broken up into turn one and turn two. This makes sense to me and I have no problem with it but for years now It's been killing me trying to figure out how Pocono has 3 curves? If bristol has 4 turns then Pocono has 6! What you think?
