I think I was about 6 when my mom first started reading the Harry Potter series to me. I used to blast my Lilo and Stich CD while making up scenarios that I was Hermione and Harry was my boyfriend. Should I be depressed that I'm gonna be living alone with my grandmother?

Since you want to stay in Sao Paulo you should explore the rich culture of the people around you. Visit the beaches and see the women because apparently that's a big thing. Also you should do some banana boat riding in the ocean and have some fun in the sun at the beach. But if you would like to stay in the city check out some night clubs or if you want to learn about the culture see some museum's or experiences the people for your self, go to near by towns and explore the life style. There are plenty of things to do in Brasil but you just have to go with the flow when you are there.

So the two phones I'm stuck between are the BlackBerry Curve 8520 and BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300. Well I have four friends with Blackberry's. Two of them have the 8520 and two of them have the 3G 9300. I love both models, and one of my friends who has the 8520 investigated the differences between both models before she got hers and never found many, so she just went with the cheaper option. One of my friends with the 3G 9300 says it's a brilliant phone, and the other said that it is rubbish, and that his track pad broke and he sent it away to get fixed and it came back exactly the same, so warned me not to get it. The 9300 has 3G but I'm not entirely sure what that is. I've tried typing with both BlackBerry's and I prefer to type with the 8520 as the buttons are more firm on it. I'm not sure if it's just my friend's phone (the one with the 9300) that has the not as firm buttons or if that's what they're all like. Also, the internet on the 8520 is faster. Again I'm not sure if it's just the 9300 my friend has that has slow internet or if it's all 9300s. Any advice would be appreciated as this is a really hard decision! Developing a sense of racial hate, any advice or honest thoughts on this matter?

Well basically i am starting to have a hate for Caucasians. I do not want to become what i have always despised but i feel it is starting to creep up on me. It is starting to effect the way i view people i find myself making stupid comments whenever i see a white person make a mistake or perform reckless behavior. Although i am totally aware that anyone from any race would do the same. I have to quickly catch myself after saying things like, "oh yes it had to be a white guy" Or "white people think they have the answer to everything" I notice with a lot of whites there is favoritism. Young white people my age usually have loud music playing and loud cars that disrupt the neighborhood. When young blacks have loud music playing it becomes an issue. I have a white friend but as with the rest im starting to want nothing to do with her more and more. The reason being, sometimes she would ask me of what i thought were stupid questions. She would be shocked when i would simply tell her i used a comb brush along with my natural Bristol brush i would tell her well did you know we all don't have the same hair texture? I feel whites have issues that they will not talk about. Instead they will talk about you behind your back to others and act like everything is ok but you can tell that something is not right but on the internet you see the true side. Blacks will talk behind your back then will act mean and snobby because they really dont like you. Then if you make them mad once they will blow the sh*t way out of proportion when you didnt think there was a problem to began with. I am not trying to be funny at all. I know im not the smartest person in the world and im not saying i am. I realize this racial hate is STUPID, but why am i letting it dictate my actions? No, you are in the right. It is awkward to talk to other people about things that they are doing wrong so yes, sometimes, notes must be written and posted. It sucks to do, but try to keep your stuff in your own space. Like tissue, paper towels, shampoo, toothpaste, all soaps, and the non-perishable foods. Divide the fridge/freezer in half with some colored tape if you have to and inventory your groceries. It only seems extreme because it will be happening all at once, but hopefully soon she will pick up on the lesson of personal boundaries and you wont have to do all these things anymore.

I think that unless cyclists have to pay road tax or insurance, then you shouldnt really be on the road especially in a city. If you think very short term, then starving yourself, however if you do this it is extremely unhealthy and it starts to eat away at your muscles not your fat, so you are mainly losing muscle (not the kind of weight you want to get rid of). Also once you start to eat again, your body will store all the food you consume into fat. This happened to me, I didn't starve myself on purpose but I had my appendix out and didn't eat anything for like 10 days and lost 10lbs, then once I started to eat again (even though I was eating healthier than before), I put on 20lbs really quickly! I weighed even more than before the surgery. This is the reason you are not losing any weight, because you are starving yourself some days, and eating others, your body is putting all that food into fat. So to get back on track and start losing weight, I would reccomend increasing the amount of food you normally eat when starving yourself over a period of 3 days, and eat healthy, regular amounts (eat your BMR), and you will start to see results after a few weeks. Don't expect to lose weight really quickly. Also, don't hate yourself for having a treat, they help keep you on track and stop you from ending up binging.

First of all does anyone know when Carnival takes place in 2012? Also, I'm thinking of starting my adventure in Manaus but hope to be in Salvador by Carnival. I want to travel by land and water through Brazil and go from Manaus to Salvador and then to Belo Horizonte which is where some good friends live.
