How to end this whole problem? MUST READ!?

Okay I'm a 8th grader and my friend wanted to fight this kid. I have had problems with the kid he wanted to fight so I instigated the fight. It hasn't happened yet but the kid that wanted to fight my friend went to his house and said that my friend had a machete, so next day at school I asked the kid why he didn't go to my friends house and fight him. He Sao he had a machete. I didn't believe it until on the bus the kid my friend wants to fight started running his mouth. So on facebook I talked to the kid that my friend wanted to fight and he said the only reason he didn't was because he had a machete. So I talked to him and now we are cool. But after that my friend called an told me over the phone and said "hey, dot tell anyone but I do have a machete and my parents don't know. So don't tell anyone you got it?" so now I figured my friend did have a machete waitin to fight the kid. What should I do? I don't want to get into any legal trouble. I talked to the kid he wanted to fight and now were cool but my other friend that brought a machete to a fight is constantly callin me wanting me to come to his house. I don't even want to talk to this kid at all. What Should I do?
